Status: Extreme Hero (last desperate line of defence, for good causes eliminates evil high profile targets)

History:

After enlisting into the British army at 18, he showed a natural skill for being a marksman and gunsmith. Because of this he was fast tracked into a accelerated program for next generation soldiers. After his training, he was dropped into Murmansk as backup for a hit squad assaulting a disused nuclear submarine dock. Posted several blocks away, with a high powered sniper rifle, he saw the main squad encounter overwhelming odds and survive intact. As the squad neared the target sub, the reactor fractured and exploded. The squad was immediately incinerated in the explosion. However, Sergeant Baxter’s sixth sense tingled, and he started to high tail it. The explosion had heavily irradiated him and he struggled to find some shelter. Crawling from the crippling pain, he managed to find a old dilapidated building and stayed low. The British government denied any knowledge of the squad, while marking the whole squad K.I.A. in one of the files that “doesn’t” exist.


Outfit: Steel toe capped boots, Combat trousers (colours differ depending on location e.g Urban or Woodland), a black tee shirt with a skull on (like “The Punisher”), leather trench coat over the top, a eye patch and a Australian bush hat.

Natural Abilities: Due to his extreme military training, stealth, marksmanship and gunmanship come natural to him.

Powers: Due to the nuclear blast, Deadeye gained the ability to slow down time when his right eye opens allowing him to see the bullets leave his gun and travel slowly towards their target. Has the ability to coat the bullet in flight in a white sheen which passes through organic matter (allows the bullet to pass through flesh e.g. if people are in the way).

Weakness: Deadeye is extremely loyal to who ever befriends him and shows him kindness. This means that he would happily dive in front of a speeding bullet to save them.


Mission: To rid the world of the most evil scum on the planet who only deserve death than imprisonment.

Allias: Geisha
Real name: Hatsu mikomo

History: She is a japanese girl- inspired by the titans breif misson in tokyo. Her mother (a resturaunt owner) wanted Hatsu to become a Geisha girl so she has a better future than working as a waitress all her life. But Hatsu didn't really fancy the whole "make-up and dancing" side of the geisha life, and didn't relish the idea of entertaining japanese business men. So, she started her geisha training (to please her mother) but then quit after she'd learnt the basics of making and dressing herself as a geisha and how to use a fan. Then she set about learning martial arts in a mountain temple and emerged as a fully trained fighter in 5 diciplines.
Then she took to the streets as Geisha, using her fighting skills and specially adapted fans as her crime fighting tools.

Powers: She has no meta-human powers, but is a skilled fighter and uses some specially adapted fans

weapons: Her fans are seemingly harmless and pretty looking with a red border. Which is actually flattened steel that is sharpened and painted to distract from it. The edge is razor sharp and can cut through a lot of things (including an attackers flesh)

Residence: She lives and works in a small oakea in the backstreets of Tokyo where she helps dress/make up/prepare the geisha who lives there, plus it gives her an oppertunity to learn about Geishas so she can use it as a cover if neccesary. Also by living with a Geisha she has the advantage of having an endless supply of make-up and replacement fans.

people who know: Currently only the Geisha (Syara) whom she lives with knows of Hatsu's double life. She has no intentions to reveal her identity to anyone else. Not even the nice boy Rikuna who visits her often and has (on two occassions) asked for her hand in marriage- To which she politely declined.

Personality:The Shadowed One is dark, cunning and ruthless. He always defeats his enemies in brutal and scary ways leaving the titans and other witnesses in awe. He never leaves his room unless he and the titans have to fight evil. He is mean to the titans but has grown fond of Raven. He doesn't let anyone in his room and usually plays the organ in his room to soothe himself.He rarely speaks of his past.

A next generation OC of mine.

Name: Charlotte Arach
Alias: Lolth
Gender: Female
Age: 14 (It all depends; she may be portrayed as 11.)
Appearance: Lolth has four large, bright red eyes. Two of them are pretty small and usually hidden behind her dusty cream-colored hair, which is usually held up with a pin shaped like a gray moth. Her canine teeth are quite large and pointed and she has two feathery moth-like antennae sprouting from her head. Four gray spider legs poke out from between her shoulder blades, each about three feet long. She's long-limbed and skinny.
Personality: She is arrogant most of the time, and enjoys making insect and spider jokes, but somehow hates it whenever someone makes a spider or insect joke she thinks is directed at her or her family. She likes scaring people and just occasionally ends a sentence with "said the spider to the fly," if it fits. Lolth can be quite charmiing and persuasive when in the right mood. She can be a bit paranoid and is a tad spoiled. But if you try to be her friend, she's quite understanding and will turn brave for someone she actually likes. Lolth is terrified of water. Her scrawny spider legs are no good for swimming. She also enjoys staring at bright lights.

Powers:
- She can speak only basically with spiders, saying things like "Go away," or "Help."
- She can walk on just her spider legs to move sneakily, but not always very quickly.
- Her spider legs are each tipped with a small claw, allowing her to walk up walls with some effort.
- She has paralyzing poison with a drawback; she has to bite someone for it to work, and it doesn't last incredibly long.
- When she's in a calm mood, she can shrink down any of her bug-like features, though they'll pop back out if her mood suddenly changes.
- She has the ability to spin silk, but she normally has to do a lot of coughing and choking to get it out, like a cat hacking up a hairball.

Other:
- She is... it should've been obvious... the weird child of Kitten and Fang.
- Her metabolism is quite high, thanks to being part spider. She can eat one-and-a-half times as much as a regular human and still just have enough energy.

Did you rip off the spidrens in Tamara Pierce's books? Because she reminds me alot of a spidren.

Powers: he has two guitars an angelic white and gold one with angel wings on it that makes him an angel and a demonic black and red one with demon wings on it that makes him a demon while an angel he can heal and his songs can make wide spread calm as a demo he can ingure people and his songs cause chaos and his voice can drive some one insane.


background: he came to jump city when he was 5. he never tells anyone from where. he was raised normaly except for his common lapses to his other personalitys his evil and his good self. one day while he was walking along he saw a package adressed to him. so he opens it and when he reaches in he lapses to all three personalitys at once. they tell him he is part of the war between heaven and hell they told him they were both on the side of good but hell didnt know that yet. so when he woke up he was holding his guitars and he knew they were special so he learned how to use them. he then became an internatonal rock star his music the start and end of riots. then one day a villan was terrorizing the town so he tried to calm the guy down but his music wasnt loud enough so he then lapsed to his good side and became an angel his music resonated through the city and everyone calmed down it was then he realized he could help the world.

Appearance:
Jacqueline has always been one to surprise people when first arriving to the scene, primarily due to the fact that she doesn't really sport the 'super hero' look. She actually has a distaste for flashy costumes and prefers more practically-suited and comfortable combat wear that she can feel like a normal human and a superhero at the same time.

In terms of wardrobe, she sticks to a red leath vest overtop of a simple white cotton sweater, black trousers, knee-high white boots, and red leather gloves. It's a humbled appearance that honours her predacessors who also wore such simple attire. The point is to emphasize the fact that she is supposed to be a hero of the people, not somebody who stands above them. Plus, it helps her blend into a crowd if she doesn't want to be seen. Several pouches line her waistline upon a belt, containing a variety of small tools that she might need in any emergency situation [Covered more in Powers/Weapons]. She's been known to wear a scarf, helmet, and goggles on occasion as well, particularly when she's in transit. Overall, while her appearance might not catch her opponent's attention immediately, they'll notice her when she jumps into action.

Personality:
In a nutshell, Jacqueline is a free-spirited, ambitious, young woman. Dreams of glory and achievement fill her dreams and she's determined to do everything that she can in order to accomplish her dreams of becoming a beacon of hope and justice to the world. Having come from a long line of small to moderate-time heros, Jacqueline has grown with a number of expectations of her, all of which she plans to blow out of the water by doing doing what none of her ancestors had ever considered - leave France and find a greater source of evil. Jacqueline is very independent, with a major tendency to solo most of her missions and reject any sort of assistance unless the situation is extremely dire. Anything that makes her look bad is avoided at all costs, which tends to lead to bit of arrogance on her part, but thankfully she tries to keep it under control - she knows how annoyed people can get around arrogant people. She takes her job very seriously but is still very much a teenager at heart and she juggles the difficulties of trying to act her age and act like how she thinks she should - mature, stoic, and professional.

Oddly enough, Jacqueline is extremely hard on herself as well. Even the slightest of mistakes can result in her kicking herself for hours afterwards. Confident in stride, it's hard to imagine that Jacqueline can be so hard on herself, even for the slightest of mistakes. Thankfully, no serious mistakes have occurred...cause nobody can guess how it'd affect her.

Jacqueline has two real passions in her life - her job and her music. Her guitar is her most cherished possession and while she's very protective of it, she doesn't hesitate to use it in the role that it was built for - a weapon of justice. When she's not saving the world she loves to hit clubs, play music, or practice her martial arts. Armed with a sarcastic tongue and a great deal of cynicism, Jacqueline can be borderline unpredictable.

Powers/Weapons:
Jacqueline's power is best described as amplification. Her powers involve the control of an energy force that can be channeled into an item she's in contact with. When utilized, these powers amplify a particular aspect of said item which can then be utilized in combat. Most have described it as an ability to 'turn anything into a weapon', though obviously the item in question must have the appropriate size dimensions to be used effectively. The attribute amplified can be increased in magnitudes even beyond what would be considered physically possible - such as powering up a laser pointer to cut through a steel plate. This power, which has been inherited through her family lineage for seven generations, has been the cornerstone to the 'Jack of All Trades' reputation. Her powers are really only limited by her imagination...and how big the object is.

Her primary weapon, oddly enough, is a guitar that she carries with her frequently. "But how do you fight with a guitar?" one might ask. The most common amplification she imbues is indestructability - making the object in her hand impervious to being damaged, which is particularly useful since she'll swing her guitar around like a battleaxe in a fight. Using her powers in combination with striking the chords can create shockwaves as well, another power that she will use frequently.

Aside from her guitar, Jacqueline will rely on anything on hand that can be used easily as a weapon. Since her powers only affect inanimate objects, she's forced to rely upon weapons and tools to get through a fight, though her years of training have made her quite competant without a guitar either.

History:
Born in a small town in the eastern part of France, Jacqueline comes from a long line of heros known collectively as the 'Jack of All Trades', which had existed for seven generations and protected France and the surrounding regions from crime. The tradition, and powers, had been passed on from father to son for six generations until Jacqueline came along and broke tradition by becoming the first female to inherit the title of 'Jack of all Trades'. Her father was hoping for a son later on but unfortunately Jacqueline's mother passed when she was very young and thus Jacqueline was the only candidate left to carry the torch.

From a young age, Jacqueline was put into a rigorous training routine much like all the training routines that her forefathers experienced when they were growing up. The purpose of the 'Jack of all Trades' was to be a versatile hero, capable of performing any sort of tasks needed because crime was unpredictable and one could never tell what skills were needed. Essentailly, Jacqueline was required to fulfill the role of an entire team of super heros, being a leader, a strongman, a tactician, and a speedster all in one hero. While she can fulfill each role with a degree of success the fact that she must divide her abilities reduces each one substantially. As the saying goes, the 'Jack of all Trades' is skilled at all, master of none, but often times better than a master of one. Versatility had been the key to success for her family's line and it continues to be their beacon of power. Their inheritable ability to channel energy into anything one can hold has allowed them to get out of the trickiest of situations with little difficult. In a new age of technology though, Jacqueline's training was perhaps more varied than any of her predecessors. Everything from weapons handling, computer science, medicine, physiology, biochemistry, lock picking, hunting, espionage, the supernatural, and nuclear physics were on the schedule for Jacqueline's decade of constant training. Again, while she might know a bit about everything, so to speak, she doesn't know a great deal about any one item, except for a handful that received more attention (like computer science and combat training).

When Jacqueline was 16 she was given her weapon, her guitar, another tradition of her family that required the teacher to give a weapon to the new Jack of All Trades in order to symbolize their ascension to the title. Jacqueline started out like all those who came before her, keeping an eye on her homeland and making sure the streets were as safe as she could make them. But Jacqueline was not satisfied with the small-time crime that existed in France and she aspired for greater things. She already saw herself as the unique 'Jack of All Trades' since she's the first girl to carry the title, so it made sense for her to be the first to attempt something new and perhaps become more than a local heroine.

A character I made up after thinking about how Aqualad was the only Atlantean in the show...

Name: Princess Serena Risava
Nickname/Alias: Rena, Bermuda
Age: 15
Race: Atlantean
Height: 5’6”
Build: Skinny/ Normal
Eyes: Deep Blue, with flecks of White
Hair: Jet Black
Skin: Fair, with a shell-shaped birthmark on her right wrist

Powers: Rena, the heiress to the Atlantean throne, was designated at birth as one of the Vessels of the Bermuda Powers. Most people know about the Bermuda Triangle and the strange occurrences that happen there: these are the Bermuda Powers. Rena’s powers usually include sending out electromagnetic waves to make electronic devices malfunction, using her telepathy to induce temporary states of vertigo, confusion, and paranoia in other people, and can slightly deflect solid objects that are thrown at her. To do this she thrusts out her hands in front of her, palms facing outward, and tries to concentrate her power towards her opponents. The white flecks in her eyes then seem to grow larger until both eyes are completely glowing white, and several white, spinning triangles shoot out of her palms.
However Rena usually focuses on one power at a time (magnetic waves, telepathy, etc.) because she is still being trained to have complete control of the Bermuda Powers. When Rena is in extreme danger or a life-threatening situation, however, the Powers are fully unleashed – without her having any control over them. The full concentration of the Powers is more destructive and dangerous than when Rena is controlling them: the uninhibited powers can produce giant electromagnetic waves capable of mass destruction, Rena’s telepathy is heightened to the point that she can control the minds of thousands of people and has the ability of telekinesis, and can bend the laws of physics. Of course, Rena takes great caution to make sure these powers are never brought out; without her control over them they would cause immeasurable destruction. Rena uses no weapons besides her powers and her body in combat.

Appearance: Rena is usually described as “fragile-looking”, with a normal build but a sense of delicateness which usually makes people underestimate her powers. The shell-shaped birthmark on her right wrist was black at birth but changed to an intense deep blue color when she grew older, marking her as the next heiress to the Atlantean throne. Her eyes also changed color from black to deep blue, confirming her as not only the next heiress but the next Vessel of the Bermuda Powers.
Her hair is jet black and wavy, reaching almost to her elbows. She has a slender, heart-shaped face and wide, cat-like eyes with long, black lashes. Her lips are not full but not thin, and her eyebrows are medium width with gentle (but not curving) arches. Her wardrobe hardly changes; she either wears the royal floor-length gown when she is assuming her duties as princess, or her skin-tight training/fighting outfit that stops at the knees and elbows along with her coral, spiked heel boots.

History/Personality: As mentioned above, Rena and all her siblings were born with a black shell-shaped birthmark marking them as members of the royal Atlantean family. However, Rena’s changed to an intense deep blue color, meaning she would be the next heiress, when she was almost three, much to the surprise of her family. She was the youngest in the family and it was usually the eldest or second-eldest child who would be the next heir. Rena’s parents doubted that she would be the next heiress until her eyes turned the same deep blue color as her birthmark, confirming her as the heiress to the throne and the next Vessel of the Bermuda Powers. Her parents then performed the ancient ritual that sealed her fate: she was to be trained to control her powers until she was a Master Vessel, take the throne, and rule Atlantis until her heir was a Master Vessel.
Her training as a Master Vessel was mainly exercises in harsh conditions, not unlikely since her home, the capital of Atlantis, was the heart of the Bermuda Triangle. It was the duty of the Master Vessels before her (occasionally an Atlantean citizen would be born with deep blue eyes and thus marked as a Vessel) to train her and to protect the Atlantean capital with their powers (explaining the strange occurrences that happen in the Bermuda Triangle.) Rena neither hates nor loves her powers but secretly fears them because of the warnings of her teachers: if she were ever to lose focus and concentration over her mind the Powers would consume her and be unleashed without restraint.
Rena keeps to herself, making her appear weak and timid to others, but in reality is strong, determined, and a bit ruthless. Her parents are concerned that she might not be fit to rule Atlantis due to her introverted nature but Rena has excellent negotiating abilities and a deep loyalty to her people. On the negative aspects, however, Rena can be stubborn, overly analytical, and ruthless. Her normal demeanor is incredibly different from her behavior when she is fighting/using her powers: she doesn’t prefer combat for survival so much as quick, precise, and deadly attacks which leaves her enemy defeated. She is also extremely talented in subtle psychological manipulation but she rarely employs this talent because she believes it is highly unethical.

Weaknesses: If he clones himself more then 5 times, He becomes to weak to do anything.
Back-story: One day he woke up without any memory. It’s been 2 years since then and his goal is to discover his past.

Shocked white crazy-style hair, mottled grey complexion with light blue splotches or freckles, very high cheekbones, very arched scaled eyebrows. Alarmingly thin and gangly, very long arms and legs. Appears to be wearing a shiny black bodysuit or armor, like layers of heavy plastic that have been melted on. Eyes are very deep-set and often appear to be absent, because they are solid black. Thin black lips and a mouth that is generally grinning, to unpleasant effect. Slightly jagged dagger teeth. Long fingers that resemble clawed talons.

Alignment: Approximately good, very confused, a bit aimless, hates boredom.


Hyper-k is basically a nice girl, from outside of dimensional space. She wanders around, having fun and looking for parties, she is not serious-minded like the rest of her scientifically-inclined family. She is not "heroic" and doesn't consider herself a "super" anything. She is used to being considered popular and fun.

One day between dimensions she met an interesting girl named Raven, and decided to follow her home, for no particular reason. Hyper-k walked around in the tower, meeting all sorts of crazy silly people who enjoyed running and screaming, and playing hide and seek. All very exciting.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Strength: She is a contact-telepath, she can learn through physical contact, or extremely close prolonged proximity.

Weakness: She doesn't necessarily understand what she learns from telepathy, and tends to incorporate thought-impressions into her vocabulary, haphazardly.

Strength: She eats exotic alloys, and is relatively strong.

Weakness: She has expensive tastes, and is always hungry. She also thinks disinfectants and antiseptics are good candy.

Strength: She likes to be liked, and to get along with everybody. She really appreciates Robin.

Weakness: She appreciates Robin, because he smells so nice and anti-bacterial.

Weakness: She thinks Cyborg is frightened of her, just because he is shy around pretty girls. (Actually he is frightened of her because he is mostly exotic alloys.) (And because she looks like amateur night at the embalming academy.)

Weakness: A large-enough dose of radiation will kill her.

Strength/Weakness: Her body temperature drops severely when she is emotionally agitated.

Strength: She can step in and out of space-time at will, giving her the ability to zip-zap around from place to place.

Weakness: All she wants to do is have some fun.

Weakness: She has no idea what these people are talking about. And she doesn't really care, because it's so exciting.

Background: His parents abused him too much so he ran away. A shadow demon found him and made a deal with him (which will be explained in powers.) Then he came home and murdered his parents. Now he works on breaking the deal somehow, but he still wants to keep his powers. If he ever finds a way to break the deal, he's still not sure what he'll decide.

Alliance: Whichever one is funner.

Personality: Loves to kill. He acts tough and tends to be sarcastic, but when he's serious he's SERIOUS.

Powers: His deal with the shadow demon was he can now control shadows and make them solid. He doesn't even need a shadow to do it; he can produce his own shadows. He can even become a shadow, and therefore travel extremely, and becomes untouchable, but it takes an immense amount of energy. His major weakness is sunlight. He also carries around millions of knives, and is skilled in throwing them. Martzail also knows many martial arts. The demons side of the deal was that whenever the full moon comes, the demon will posses him. At that point he is completely unstoppable. He can kill people just by staring them down and controlling them with his mind, but he's not actually conscious, and has similar mental ability to that of an animal. In this stage he has an invisible force field around him and if you manage to get around it and touch him, you instantly die. The only way to get rid of him is when the moon goes away, or if the sun comes on out. Any light weakens him a bit in both stages, and depending what kind of light, it might hardly do anything at all.

I doubt my remarks will carry much weight but I will say them just as a means of constructive criticism. Take them with a pinch of salt and I mean no personal offense in advance.

Now onto the critique..

1. Background - very short and a somewhat bland background. You should flush it out some more because it just seems rather sub-par and more akin to a character you see in one or two chapters of a story, rather than a major role. Who was this demon? What other details are there to his life? How is he trying to break the deal? How old is he?

2. Personality - no personality should be able to be summed up in one line. Minor characters get one-line descriptions.

3. Powers - Shadow powers...how many times have I seen this type used before. It ranks up there with ninjas and swordsman/samurai. I'm going to go on a limb and assume he's somewhere in his teens, which kinda makes having diverse martial arts skills somewhat unlikely (that or he's just horribly inexperienced in all of them). Secondly, avoid making him seem god-like in any respect, particularly in the 'can kill anybody by just staring at them' and 'you will die if you touch him' parts. You're character immediately loses what interest I had left at that point. It's like superman - if you can win over anything, what's the interest in reading this character?

Overall: you need to put some more work into character design if you want something really interesting and not a Gary-sue type character. I recommend taking time to edit and review and paying a visit to this site. It'll help your characters and, in turn, youre writing projects.

Final score: 2/10

I am going to step in here and say a few comments. 1) Any character that has personality, powers, and appearance summed up in one to two sentences is not a character at all. If you want to make it a convincing well rounded character, add a little flesh to it. 2) Try to make the powers Somewhat original. At the time period we live, it is almost impossible to be completely original, but add some tone to its abilities. Make it sound special.

As well, the backstory should be a little fleshed out if the character is to be used in RP's and stuff. Having a character with no history makes it tough to make into a interesting personification of what you want to show to everyone else.

I'm rather bored so I'll post another character from my Blackfire Trilogy.

Name: Napharak Trnorbane
First Appearance: The Plains of Daluram - ch. 5
Title/Position: Hero of Daluram; Grand Ruler of Daluram
Race: Balor clan Demon
Age: Uncertain. Between 5000-6000 earth years
Homeland: Daluram - Kargora Province
Allignment: Chaotic Good

Abilities:
Napharak is one of the most powerful mages of his clan, hence why in a realm where power is key he rules without question. The exact limits to his magical capabilities are uncertain as he possesses numerous libraries containing archane spellbooks but more powerful spells are limited by their toll on his body. Magics can include anything from elemental formations like fireballs and electrical discharges to something as massive as a transdimensional gateway. Node crystals are also required for more powerful spells and the staff he carries holds a small focusing crystal at its end. Larger node crystals can be used to use more power magics, the largest of which is located within the Shankrisha Citadel - the center of Daluram civilization.

On top of his own magics, he is a skilled combatant with melee weapons and 'horseback' riding. Plus, he has the loyalty and service of the many inhabitants of Daluram.

Appearance:
Like all members of the Balor clan, Napharak true figure it kept hidden beneath layers of robes and armour, both of which are worn with age and use. His outermost layer is a large blue robe that drapes from head to toe with its hood masking his facial feature. Beneath the robes are wraps of leather, chain mail, and scattered light plates of metal forming a suit of light-weight but durable body armour. Unlike most members of his clan, Napharak does not wear the traditional iron mask and instead lets his large hood conceal his face, save for two glowing blue eyes - no member outside of the Balor clan had ever seen the face of one and Napharak is no exception. Occasionally, when he tips his head upwards, whisps of dark smoke and mist can be seen emerging from the edges of his hood, adding to the theory that Balors are a semi-corporeal race bound to the physical plane mostly by the will of the individual.

Napharak stands exceptionally tall at 6'5" with an unknown body weight due to an unknown body composition. His frame, from what can be tell through the layers of cloths and metal, is relatively thin compared to other Balors but would be considered above-average girth to a human male.

Personality:
A conflicted and complex individual would be the best way to describe Napharak; self-serving, opportunistic, quick-tempered, and highly intelligent would be several other ways to describe the individual.

As a hero to his entire planet, Napharak is well-respected and admired for his cunning combat prowess, strategies, and most importantly for devising the plans that had kept the planet under their rule. He is a demon of many talents - a politician, a leader, and a warrior. While not the most charismic individual, Napharak has always had a way with words and is more than able to talk people into doing what he needs to be done. Usually it's only in his own interest or what he considers to be in the interest of his people. As a leader, he burdens himself with the task of making the difficult decisions that need to be made for the survival of his people in what can be consider tense times. He desperately wishes to be seen as a fair and understanding ruler but is continually forced to suppress rebellions or punish individuals who he believe are planning revolts. These decisions usually weigh heavily on his shoulders and are a constant source of emotionally turmoil and constant rationalizing.

Due to living in chaotic times, Napharak had always been an opportunist. His rise to power in both the Balor clan and in Daluram itself has been a result of strong ambitions and alliances. His trust is exceptionally hard to earn and only a few individuals hold his unwavering trust, namely his younger brother Necrosis who serves as his closest advisor and most trusted lieutenant. Years ago, when it comes to acquiring what he seeks, there were no means that he wouldn't consider in order to secure it. Nowadays, due to many difficult decisions, his willingness to act and take risks is substantially less.

Napharak is a man of strong values but unfortunately rather weak integrity. Though once able to stand firm against adversity, Napharak now spends more time weighing the danger of actions to his people and his seat of power than to what is actually right, which has led to him making horrid decisions, including the massacre of an entire clan of Nkrath demons.

Background:
The Balor clan is the largest of the four clans that inhabit Daluram; they are most naturally gifted with magic, the most 'human-like' in mannerisms and society, and arguably the most reasonable of the three warring clans (aside from the Nkrath who are withdrawn from the politics of the other three). Despite their numbers and gifts of magic, the Balor had always been the least powerful compared to their much larger Tauranton and Yerwn clans.

Napharak first gained prestige as a simple mage of the largest Balor clan within the province Kargora where his prowess in several skirmishes against rival clans were noticed by his High Elder. Along with his younger brother, Necrosis, the two Trnorbane brothers became well known as a powerful fighting pair and arguably the two most powerful members of the Balor clan (Necrosis being a master of the blade and Napharak of magic). Their dedication to their clan allowed them to quickly rise through their ranks until they finally stood only second to the High Elder. It was then that Napharak realized that he could seize power of the Balor clan. With the assistance of his brother and several other loyal friends, Napharak defeated his former High Elder in a ceremonial duel for leadership - Napharak was now the High Elder and ruler of all members of the Balor clan.

His rule as High Elder was noted by great expansion of his clan's territories, making them an actual threat to the other warring clans. Raising a massive army, Napharak was poised to seize control away from the Tauranton and Yerwn and secure his place as Grand Ruler of all of Daluram.

Fate, however, would intervene and make allies of these old enemies.

The great destroy demon, known simply as Trigon the Terrible, had set his sights upon the small planet of Daluram. Such a small planet hardly noted his presence and Trigon had simply dispatched his armies to conquor the world - Napharak, however, would have other plans in mind. Seeing this greater threat to all his people, Napharak was able to rally the four clans together against Trigon's armies and was able to repel multiple waves of their attacks. The casualties were high but morale was even higher for the inhabitants of Daluram. Their resistance, though, had made their planet note-worthy to Trigon and he soon descended upon their world personally. All seemed lost at first, until Napharak devised a plan to save his people.

In order for the plan to work, Napharak needed to stall Trigon and his armies from reaching the Shankrisha Citadel. It required the sacrifice of nearly their entire armies to do so, but the time needed was acquired. During this, Napharak retreated to the libraries to conjure up one of the most powerful dimensional gateway spells ever conceived - he was going to transport Daluram and its star to an alternate dimension where it could be sealed away from Trigon's influence. A bold plan to say the least but it was the only way to save his world from an unstoppable demonic entity. With the blood of millions of his brethen upon his shoulders, Napharak summoned up every ounce of power that he could to steal away Daluram and its star...sealing it forever into a dimension that Trigon would never be able to set foot in. Their world would never be the same again...but at least they would survive. It was this plan and his deeds that earned Napharak the title 'Hero of Daluram' and his story had been transcribed and told by many...including the priests of Azarath who used a similar tactic to banish Trigon away many years later.

A spell of such size took a great toll on Napharak - he fell into a coma lasting several years as a result. When he awoke, he had found that his people that he had rallied together were back to their old ways. It was even worse though, the Tauranton and Yerwn had allied themselves in order to safeguard their supremacy against the now-threatening Balor clans. Felt as though betrayed by his once comrades-in-arms, Napharak swore vengeance against the two clans and vowed he would see them overthrown one day.

How exactly Napharak succeeded in overthrowing the two clans remains a mystery, though it is rumoured to have something to do with the strange traveller that broke through Napharak's dimensional-seal {see Plains of Daluram for more}. Once Napharak had secured his position as Grand Ruler of Daluram, making the Balor clan the supreme power in the land, he once again tried to keep the clans united as one; he even allowed the formation of a council so that each clan may have a say in the evolution of their new society. Though he swept in through questionable means, Napharak was able to bring peace to his people once again...but at what cost?

Powers: He has the ablity to create and control ice. He also can project his thoughts out of his head like a movie.

History: When he was 5 his father left his mother and him alone. So after that he found out his mom was pregneant. She died giving birth. And his sister died 2 weeks later from a prenatal complications. When they tried to send him to an orphanage he ran away. No one knows how but he survived for ten years before arriving at jump city begging for food and money.
